What does proverbs 20:1 and 23:29-32 mean?

It doesn't say drinking alcohol is a sin, but over indulgence (drunkenness) is the sin. So we are being cautioned here to watch our step don't get sucked into over drinking.Good question,keep on reading your Bible.
