I failed my first english esment and its my final year! HELP!?

you have to have an open mind when you are in english. i have to write tons of articles for the jr. high newspaper staff. and i always get As cuz i write like i talk. (be aware that i'm not using the best grammar and what not when i answer questions) i ask tons of questions in my essays to keep my readers thinking and not wondering off...plus it sounds cool. same with speeches. i actually just gave a speech a few days ago on endangered animals. i started out with "close your eyes and imagine this seen" then i described a scene where your hiking through the forest...and how you see nature take it's part in life. (only the intro lasted about a minute) i hope the things i've done can help you in the future. the main thing is don't give up and if you need major help and ask your teacher for help. she'd be willing to. that's what teachers are for. there's a book i'm reading called "words that stick." you might want to take a look at it. it changes your life. you'll be nock'n out essays in like 30 minutes. and they'll be great. it won't just help you in english but with all subjects where you have to write essays and what not.
